"I don't have a skull. Or bones."

-Olaf the Snowman, Frozen

Beneath the frozen northern wastes sits an abandoned factory, now a tomb.

To learn more about how The Skeletons is played check out our primer episode. We're using a supplement for The Skeletons, a new skeleton, The Deer. You can get this on Bully Pulpit Games and keep up-to-date on the latest through their newsletter. We also recommend their Drip.

The Tomb:

A round wooden hall with a series of stone columns in the center flanking a red sack suspended on a golden cord. Ancient works, tools and conveyance litter the space.

The Characters:

The Horror (Kelsey Dionne) - a twisted broken thing, that collects and care for the incomplete and flawed things cast-aside.

Big Head (Ken Breese) - The small stature of this being seems to be at home in the scaled down furnishings of the tomb.

The Deer (John Holt) - An acolyte of the keepers of this place.

Find Kelsey Dionne on her adventure website The Arcane Library and on Facebook.

Kelsey's new book is up on Amazon!

“I have come here from my city,
I have descended from my nome;
I have built a house, set up (its) doors,
I have dug a pool, planted sycamores.
The king praised me,
My father made a will for me.
I was one worthy ---
One beloved of his father,
Praised by his mother,
Whom all his brothers loved.
I gave bread to the hungry,
Clothing to the naked,
I brought the boatless to land.
O you who live upon earth,
Who shall pass by this tomb
Going north or going south,
Who shall say: "a thousand loaves and beer jugs
For the owner of this tomb,"
I shall watch over them in the necropolis.
I am an excellent equipped spirit (akh),
A lector-priest who knows his speech.
As for any man who enters this tomb unclean,
I shall seize him by the neck like a bird,
He will be judged for it by the great god!
I was one who spoke fairly, who repeated what was liked,
I never spoke evilly against any man to his superior,
Never did I judge between two [contenders]
In a manner which deprived a son of his father's legacy.
Harkhuf”

This is a brief overview that lays out the basic of setting up and playing The Skeletons by designer Jason Morningstar.

Recommended number of players: 1-6, Play time 1-3 hours on average.

The Skeletons is a GM-less game, the players collaborate to tell the story.

We recommend picking the PDF from publisher, Bully Pulpit Games.

In addition to players, The Skeletons requires a handful of components:

1) Printouts of the character sheets and charts from rulebook

2) Index Cards

3) Writing Utensils

and an optional 6-sided die.
