This is a brief overview that lays out the basic of setting up and playing a game of Ribbon Drive.

Recommended number of players: 3-5, Play time 3-6 hours on average

Ribbon Drive is a 'GMless' game, you don't need a Dungeon Master or Game Master setting up the rules and the world.

We recommend picking up a copy of the rules from Buried without Ceremony. They have copies available as PDF and physical books. Try your friendly local games store. If they carry role playing games they probably carry Fiasco.

In addition to players Ribbon Drive only requires a handful of components:

1) Rulebook

2) Mixes (1 per player, 45-70 minutes each)

3) Index Cards/Paper

5) Writing Utensils

previously on bored ghost (listen here):

Chuck Salisbury is the lead Anchor for Channel 6 News and Brock Stone is his co-anchor. The local fitness expert who runs the workout show on the network is Carly the Curl. Brock and Carly are working to get a scoop over on Chuck and Chuck is keeping a tight fist n the crown. There is a camp for Christ - Jesus Overarching Camp- that seems to rub Chuck Salisbury the wrong way. Things came to a head when Chuck Salisbury punched a protestor who accosted him in the News 6 lobby.

Now we've entered the TILT and added two new elements:

  1. Mayhem: Misdirected Passion
  2. Tragedy: Somebody's life is changed forever, in a bad way

To learn more about how Fiasco is played check out our primer episode.

Between John and Ken they are not fooling around, but everyone thinks they are.

There is a NEED to get famous by finally getting recognition of a human interest story.

There is also a NEED to make a difference by bringing down god’s wrath on this wicked heathen society.

There is one OBJECT in the mix: a secret- someone has a contract with another station.

This is a brief overview that lays out the basic of setting up and playing a game of Fiasco.

Recommended number of players: 3-5, Play time 1.5-3 hours on average

Fiasco is a 'GMless' game, you don't need a Dungeon Master or Game Master setting up the rules and the world. It is helpful to have a facilitator - someone playing with you who has played the game before.

We recommend picking up a copy of the rules from Bully Pulpit Games. They have copies available as PDF and physical books. Try your friendly local games store. If they carry role playing games they probably carry Fiasco.

In addition to 3-5 playersFiasco only requires a handful of components:

1) Rulebook (available here)

2) Playsets (also available here but also available elsewhere online, or you can make you own!)

3) Dice - 4 per player (2 black, 2 white)

4) Index Cards/Paper

5) Writing Utensils
